F.N.I.G.E., Italian Electronic Sports Federation, and 6X Media Contents & Relations, owner of ITALIATOPGAMES.it, announce the signature of a Partnership Agreement with the aim to spread eSport as a sport and a mean of social union.

With this agreement, signed on 8th March, 2010, ItaliaTopGames officially becomes Media Partner, for what concerns the Web area, of F.N.I.G.E. - Italian Electronic Sports Federation.

ItaliaTopGames will fill you in, exclusively for the Web Area, all the activities of F.N.I.G.E., mainly concerning Italian Videogames League, the Italian Championship of Videogames, which will start at the end of May 2010, and will have a stage in every region, with Italian Finals in December 2010, in Milan.

F.N.I.G.E., Italian Electronic Sports Federation, founded in July 2009, aim to promote, spread and regulate eSport in Italy, intended as a sport and a mean of social aggregation, through the union of Associations and Organizations able to give a huge contribute to the development of this discipline, not-for-profit and in great respect of Italian and CONI laws. F.N.I.G.E. is the owner of eSport Italia, the magazine of Videogamers and, in 2010, will realize for the first time in Italy, the Italian Championship of Videogames. On 9th November 2009, F.N.I.G.E signed an important national agreement with C.S.A.IN. (www.csain.it), one of the greatest organizations of sport promotion, recognized by CONI and Internal Affairs, born from an initiative of Confindustria in 1959, and which boasts more than 500.000 members and 6.000 sport societies affiliated. C.S.A.IN. Recognizes THE Videogame, intended as eSport, as sport discipline and, at the same time, recognizes F.N.I.G.E. as the ONLY organization, on the entire national territory, qualified for spreading, regulating and developing eSport in Italy. Further,  Sebastiano Silluzio, President of F.N.I.G.E., has been appointed as C.S.A.IN. National Responsible for the sport discipline of eSport. For further information: www.fnige.org

Thanks to real-time updates with news, specials, videos, interviews and images, ITG, after its first 18 months of life, has become one of the most important referring points for italian videogamers, but also for insiders. ITG already started important partnerships with AIOMI ( Italian Multimedia Interactive Works Association) and joined initiatives with the most important protagonists of the market, such as Halifax,  Digital Bros, Konami, Capcom, Sega, Koch Media, Sherdan, Mediahook, Disney Studios and Sony Pictures. Among the many activities, www.italiatopgames.it hosts exclusively for Italy the official Feedback zone of Pro Evolution Soccer, the most sold game in Italy every year.

“ In our presentation press conference, at Rome Videogames Festival 2009 – declares the President of F.N.I.G.E. Sebastiano Silluzio -  we pointed out that F.N.I.G.E. is open to every kind of agreement coming from professionals who base their work on quality and professionalism. It turn out to be natural for us, with such elements, to choose ItaliaTopGames and Fabrizio Tropeano as Media Partner for Web Area. I'm sure that, from this collaboration, Videogame and eSport will have a great benefit.

“We really appreciate what F.N.I.G.E. is doing in order to give videogame a regulation and a valorisation as eSport – says Fabrizio Tropeano, founder of ItaliaTopGames. - The collaboration between F.N.I.G.E. and ItaliaTopGames will reinforce two realities that, from two different points of view, aims at the same target: to give Videogames in Italy a new and more important dimension.”
