Milan, February 9th, 2010
eSport Italia, the official magazine of F.N.I.G.E., Italian Electronic Sports Federation, sees the light.
After the historic agreement signed with C.S.A.IN., that allows eSport to be recognized as a sport discipline and a mean of social and cultural aggregation, F.N.I.G.E. launches the first Italian magazine entirely dedicated to eSports in Italy and all around the world, addressed to all those gamers with the passion of eSport competition, who are looking for a magazine able to grant a deepened, competent and professional point of view.
eSport Italia is the result of a kept word, a demonstration of F.N.I.G.E. seriousness and reliability, since in its first press conference at Rome Videogames Festival, it was announced the coming out of the magazine as a primary goal. The magazine will be out for its first time on February, 22nd 2010 and, each month, will host the most important news of national and international eSport. Among its authors there will be some of the most relevant figures of Italian eSport, who will offer a look “from inside” of this world, with all its tournaments, events and competitions. The choice of the authors entirely reflects some of the most important values of F.N.I.G.E., which has, among the others, the goal to realize the Italian Videogames League, already in the current year.
Always updated on the latest news coming from eSport and on the latest coming outs, besides the “classical” articles on the most popular videogames and wide and detailed multiplayer reviews, eSport Italia will have, in its pages, interviews and specials, official guides written by Italian champions and all the updates from the “player market”, with most relevant transfers in Italian and foreign teams.
With eSport Italia, F.N.I.G.E. wants to create an editorial referring point for the members of F.N.I.G.E., besides, obviously, to be a source of information on eSport world news.
The director of the magazine will be Simone Trimarchi; great fan and professional of eSport, can boast collaborations with various specialist reviews and a huge experience in terms of e-gaming.
Only for this first coming out, eSport Italia will be available, starting from February, 22nd , free and costless. It can be printed, consulted and downloaded from the official website www.esportitalia.com.
